Big News from the USGA

Well this isn't just huge news. It isn't a rule change or an equipment rollback or the anchored putting decision.

The 2021 US Open will be held at Torrey Pines in San Diego, CA. It was last visited by the USGA in 2008. If you have trouble recalling what happened, here is a refresher below from the Monday playoff.

Torrey Pines also holds a yearly PGA Tour event, the Farmers Insurance Open.

And yes, Torrey Pines is a public golf course owned by the city of San Diego. Which means, we at Bradley Golf Travel can send you there!

Spring has sprung! (Also, Happy St. Patrick's Day!)

It has unfortunately been awhile since I was last blogging, either retelling golfing adventures and or giving potential ideas for great golf trips. However, I am back and promise to be more vigilant with posting.

Today is St. Patrick's Day! Which means the prime golfing season is just around the corner. (or the corner after the corner if you are me, in northern Indiana)

However, there are some places that you can go now. The Dormie Club in Pinehurst, NC is a great course located in the same town as the famed Pinehurst No 2, site of the 2014 US Open.

The Pinehurst and Southern Pines area is the ideal location for a spring golf getaway. Whether to get in a great trip, or to just get in a good tune up for the golf summer ahead.

Of course, it all begins at the Old Course in St. Andrews:

A great memory from the Swilcan Bridge with my father-in- law:

Happy Thanksgiving!!

As we approach Thanksgiving, the holiday to appreciate everything that we have been given, I would like to say thanks for the blessings that I have received in my life.

Thank you Dad for all of the amazing places and memories that I have gotten to share with you over the last 17 years.

And with that I want to share some of these memories that I have been lucky enough to have

Spring Break 2010 France

Summer 2011 England

Summer 2012 Michigan

Irish-BYU Game 2012

And hundreds of thousands more of fantastic memories with my entire family. I am truly blessed. And as much fun as we have had, we have had about 4 times for golf shots ;)

I hope we have many more of these moments ahead of us. Be thankful for what you have.

Dad,

Thanks so much,

Matt

Golf and football!

Is there a better combination?? I think not. Catching a college game Saturday afternoon and pairing it with a round of golf on a new course either the preceeding Friday or following Sunday can make for a great weekend.

There isn't a much prettier campus in that nation than the University of Notre Dame.

Boasting the Warren Course, a Coore Crenshaw design, it is one the country's best university courses.

And as always, Play Like A Champion Today

Wherever you want to go, we'll get you there.

Is this the best golf course picture I have ever taken?

The Island Golf Club just outside of Dublin features this absolutely stunning par 5 hole.  I think it might be my best golf course photo to date.

If you want us to help you play here, send me an email.  If not, check your pulse.
